Manufacture & Delivery

Materials and Manufacture

The picture frame or canvas used with each picture is carefully selected by our designers. We do not provide alternatives to the frame or canvas described with the picture. Our pictures are assembled by craftsmen in the UK using the following materials.

Art Prints on Canvas

Most of our pictures use this format which bonds a high quality lithographic print onto a canvas which is stretched over a wooden frame. Each piece of canvas art has a depth of approx 3.5cm (1 ¼"). As well as providing a contemporary clean look it also has the practical advantage of being lighter than an equivalent framed and glazed print and an easier way to hang a large image. Instructions for hanging and care of the canvas art print are provided.

Framed Prints

Our framed prints all use acid-free mounts. The frames are all made of wood supplied from fully sustainable timber sources. We use 2mm high quality picture glass as standard which can be cleaned with normal glass cleaner. Framed prints are supplied already strung or bracketed and can be placed straight onto a picture hook or other fixing.

Hand Painted Originals

Our hand-painted originals are individually crafted using a range of acrylic materials applied to a traditional cotton canvas. The canvas painting is then stretched over a wooden frame approximately 3.5cm deep. The materials chosen ensure that the picture maintains its original texture, depth and colour without fading, shrinking or cracking

Packing and Delivery

All canvas art prints, framed art prints and original art is carefully protected and enclosed in a cardboard case to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Expected delivery is as follows:

Art prints on canvas and framed art prints: 7-10 days

Original art (hand-painted to order): up to 21 days

Normal delivery hours are weekdays 9am - 5pm. We cannot give precise delivery times but we will notify you by email when your order has been despatched with our courier company.

A signature is normally required on receipt but if you provide clear instructions when you place your order, we can offer the following help:

1. Delivery to an alternative address e.g. work

2. Special instructions e.g. a neighbour who will accept delivery if you are not in

3. Instructions as to where a package can be left for you e.g. inside a porch - please do this only if you are confident that it will be secure.

Delivery Charge

We apply a standard contribution of £7.50 towards packing and delivery on UK orders irrespective of the number of pictures in each order.

Delivery Outside the UK

We are able to arrange deliveries outside the UK but these are not covered by our standard charge for packing and delivery. Please call customer services on 0845 330 1978 if you require this service and we will confirm costs and expected delivery time.

Customer Service Enquiries

For enquiries about your order once it has been placed, ideally email us at info@artistry-pictures.co.uk - if possible attaching your email to your order confirmation. If you cannot email us, telephone customer services on 0845 330 1978 and please make sure you provide your order number to the person who takes the call.
